Picture Package is the wackiest program that I have ever used. It is such a pain to get loaded and working, but it is the only program that I know of that does what it does.

I use PP only to copy the individual clips from the disk to my hard drive as MPEGs.

I have installed PP on my laptop, my PC (three times), and my sister's PC. Every time, the only way I could get the app to recognize a disk is to:

1. Install the program
2. Restart
3. Run the program (it won't read the disk in any drive or from a USB-connected camera).
4. Uninstall.
5. Restart.
6. Install the program.
7. Restart.
8. It will work!

Of course, when I am talking about PP, I am mostly referring to the DVD Viewer - as that is all I use.

Actually that doesn't sound too bad!

Last time (and I mean the LAST time) I installed that garbage it utterly and completely trashed my computer requiring a reformat of the C drive.

I have now placed it in a lead box for the safety of all humanity.
