I have a Samsung sport camcorder SC-X300L with external lens.
When I bought it the camcorder itself was smaller than I’d thought but the external lens bigger , however on the market there was nothing else so I'd bought it.

The quality of the movies is not too good but nevertheless it is cool to ride the bicycle and record hands free.

I wrote to a few helmet paintball manufactures whether they can produce a helmet where the external lens from the Samsung would ‘naturally’ fit (too awkward to use the strap provided in the camcorder box ) as many people would purchase it (the same goes for ski helmets).

I mean Samsung offered 3 months extra warranty if you registered online and I suppose most buyers took up this offer so they had the names/addresses of people who might be interested in products related to the sport camcorder.

So my questions:

Is there a third part external lens smaller that could fit to Samsung ? I’d like something less obvious and not so awkward to install/wear.

Are there 3rd party products especially manufactured/adapted for the external lens of this camcorder ?
