perf of GS320

Hi...
I was wondering why the GS320 gets lower video performance ( 5.5 ) and video resolution ( 4.88 )
compared with the GS 300 ( video perf = 8.25 video res = 15.3 ) ?
This is on the camcorderinfo.com review.
Is it because when the GS320 came out, the camcorderinfo.com revamped their scoring scheme because of the HD cameras coming out?

Thanks.

It could very well be that it is the difference in testing.

The GS300 was a popular model, the replacement was the GS320 with a lot of unhappy people, newer models many times are with fewer features.

As far as I know, the GS300 and 320 have the same imaging system and lense. The GS320 just removed the mic in port, nice finish, and put the DV out and power jacks behind the battery. <In other words, get a GS300 if you can find one.

However GS320 was wide screen ( true widescreen ), while the GS300 is not real widescreen ( does a cropping ).

No actually the GS300 has the same "true" widescreen as the GS320. It adds some information to the sides when you switch to 16:9.
