Oldest version that burns DVD that will play on any player

I've got pinnacle 7 and whilst it's great for editing my mini DV footage it hasn't got the facility to burn a DVD from my hard drive once I've made my movie. What is the oldest version that will do this burning so that I can play the disk on any stand alone DVD player?
