HD and jolts or jarring?

do they still function okay? i am not taking major jolts, minor stuff. like on a helmet cam of a full suspension mtn bike? or skiing?

i am looking at the sony hdr sr11

It should have a motion sensor to disable the hard drive when detecting large movements or dropping. My SR100 does but was looking at the specs for the SR11 and don't see it listed. Nice thing about the SR11 is you can record to either hd or flash memory so would suggest recording to flash if your in a bumpy enviroment. I tend to be careful to not jar my SR100 when recording.
