Hello all,

I own a Sony TRV350 and have probably only used the camcorder a total of 15 times since a bought it new a few years back.

I just tried recording something the other day and noticed that the mic is picking up noise of the motor gears turning. It makes like a loud winding sound that is honestly very annoying when replying a video. I took it to a friend that has a home video studio and he said the motor is unusually loud for the device.

I was wondering if this is a common problem for these camcorders and also is there anything I can do to try and fix this issue? If not, how much may I be looking to spend on getting it fixed?
