Pixela software update released

After you install the Pixela software that came with the camcorder, don't forget to update it. Dig through the menus, there's an option somewhere that lets you check the updates.
At this moment, the latest update was released on 2008/03/25 and fixes a pretty important bug (files larger than 2GB, when re-uploaded back to camcorder, would not play - now fixed).

P.S.: Maybe I'm dumb, but Pixela seems to be an atrocious editor. Where's the jump back/forward frame by frame?

Vegas

Guys hopefully you can help me - got the cam two nights ago and finally used it last night. I attached the camera, navigated through the directories and copied all MTS files to my PC.

I then loaded Vegas Pro 8.0b and tried to 'import' the files, it would not see them. I switched the filter to 'all files' and selected a file manually and it still wouldn't open them. I also read somewhere to rename the files to .m2ts - still wouldn't open.

TMPGEnc worked fine to open and convert to MPG2 so the files appear to be OK. I thought Vegas Pro was supposed to natively handle mts files?

Thanks for any insight - I hope I can edit the videos I'm taking.

-John
