Unhappy Repair

i posted a thread earlier about having trouble playing back audio that i recorded with my Panasonic GS500. i used to be able to hear things, but now when i play back the video there is nothing. i looked under all of the setup options and tried to change everything i could find, but nothing seems to have worked. does anyone know what a normal setting would be to play back audio that i recorded with video?

i did talk to a friend who said my speaker may be broken. if there is something wrong what would be the best option? i don't know if there is a store anywhere i can take it to for repairs....

i have barely used it & i don't want to see my camcorder go to waist. any help is appreciated....

If your talking about sound coming out of the camera speaker, look at the zoom control, thats the volume for the internal speaker during playback, pushing the zoom to the right raises the volume. Are you getting sound when you capture to a computer?

You can't hear audio when you play back how?

If you can't hear audio through the camcorder speaker when you play back on your GS500 it may be the you have your volume turned down.
The wide angle/telephoto switch controls the speaker volume.
