I like the more professional look of the A1U (and I would use it's XLR inputs), but I'm wondering if since the HC9 (or HC7) is so much newer if the video quality would be better than the HC9? I do a lot of indoor shooting.

I also noticed the A1U specifications say max record time is 60 minutes, while HC9 says 80. Would an 80 minute miniDV tape really not work with the A1U?

Any thoughts before I make my buying decision??
