8mm tapes
I have some 8mm tapes and was wondering can they be used with digital 8 camcorder?

No.

You need Hi8 or Digital8 tapes to record Digital8.

Thank you. Another question When I charge a battery the lcd blinks slowly forever and does not charge. I think it means a bad battery. Right?

On my Sony's the LED is on during charge and it goes off when the battery is charged.

On my Sony's I think there is a problem when the LED blinks.
