It appears that Corel (ex Ulead) has terminated product support for Video Studio. I just tried to report a bug in Video Studio 11+ and was unable to locate any place in their website to enter the information. There was no way to contact either Customer Service or Technical Support.
The only place that seemed operative was paid-for support. Given the poor quality of previous support requests, I declined to actually pay for more of the same.
If anyone has discovered a way thru the support maze, please report.
Edit: I finally found a way through the tangled maze of Corel's web site support section and was able to enter a bug report. There are many dead ends and non-responding links. It is quite complicated, and time consuming, now. I will follow up in this thread on how well Corel responds...
EDIT #2 Update 6/3/08 - Corel tech support finally responded with its usual advice to reinstall. I had already done this, to no avail. So they passed off the problem to a phone tech, who emailed back that my problem was known and did not know when it would be fixed.

So Corel tech support is not dead - just disfunctional.
FYI, the BUG in Video Studio 11+ only happens with VISTA, which prevents any external video codecs (e.g., Divx, Xvid, H.264HD, etc.) from being used in the output stage (SHARE Tab) of video studio. We are stuck with Mpeg as the only output format for high def video.
