Hi - I shot two videos with my DVC 80 - my kids in them, Rachel and Tristan, who have been involved in the Green Team at our school. I got roped in as the camera person. We ended up making two videos that we entered in a contest
http://www.quantumshift.tv/schools/ but to our surprise and delight we made it to the finals!! We are the only Canadian team in the finals, and the only elementary school. Needless to say we are pretty excited, the prize for first place in $50,000 in merchandise and cash for our new school, Kelset! The timing is perfect as we head over to the new school in September - just in time to enjoy our prizes. To have made it this far is awesome, to make it to number one by the end of the week would be out of this world.

Registering involves giving your email address and name, and a password - I know lots of people are "fussy" about giving their email address out, but I can assure you that this contest is legit and you will NOT receive any spam as a result of joining. It seems you have to wait for them to email you a "code" to prove that your email address is real. And on that note, you can register every email address you have and vote with each one!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for helping us out, we are currently in first place, but Monday is a holiday in the states and I think they will be voting with a vengeance come Tuesday morning!!
