back up

Hey guys,
I video with my vx-2100 camera out to a super vhs tape recorder for a backup copy. Coming out of the camera, would it be best to use the svhs out to tape or just the analog out. Will there be much diffference with svhs or is the camera so good the rca outs are just as good?

S-Video out will be a little better, but it will still never be close to your original DV tape.

Yes I know. The back up saved me when I had something happen during recording of digital tape and I was able to use vhs for my dvd. Just wondered if the svhs would be better quality than vhs analog outs. I would really like to video to DV tape and also a hard drive of some sort.

S-VHS/S-Video is analog. It's all analog until you get up to FW or HDMI.
