What's the maximum capacity of the Memory Stick Pro Duo supported?
Hi!
Does anyone knows? Is it 16 GB or 32 GB (if any)?
Thanks

Sony Handycam handbook
In the users manual, (handbook) it states on page 106 "On a 'Memory Stick Pro Duo' the maximum memory capacity of a 'Memory Stick Pro Duo' that can be used with your camcorder is 8 GB."
Not sure the camcorder could format at 16 - 32 GB stick.

Why would you use more than 8 GB in the SR11? 8 GB is a lot of still pictures with the highest resolution !

Then why do you buy a camcorder with a 60 GB HDD ???? My HDR-SR12E has been around all over Russia and the Ukraine, from the hot Black Sea to cold Siberia, without any problems with the HDD. I made during that long trip about 12 hours of raw footage. That would be a lot of reliable memory sticks.
Anyway, as the ancient Romans said:"Degustibus et coloribus non dispuntandum est"
