sony hdsr11-i mac compatiblity..
hey guys, im thinking of upgrading my computer. mine is definately not fast enough to edit/burn ect. (avchd)

i really like what i have seen for editing software. ease of use ect. from apple.. imac or mac pro. any help would be great.. thanks.

Go mac pro. You won't regret it. More upgrade options and not limited to 4gb of ram like the iMac is. You can grab a refurb for around 2 grand. I have 8gb in mine and use iMovie 8 and 6 to edit from my SR11. Still taxes the system but faster than my 24 inch iMac.
