I did even more with S12, I used it for several AVCHD projects. If you have a powerful computer (Intel Duo or Quad) with a powerful video card AVCHD performance is superb.

I did a comparison test with Studio 11 en 12 in AVCHD:
1 X AVCHD Black Matte - 2 sec
1 X AVCHD clip - 8 sec
3 X HFX transitions
2 X Hi-Res 16:9 pictures made by the HDR-SR12 - on each picture a Stage Tools (pan and zoom) video effect

Render time to AVC in S11 = 39 sec
Render time to AVC (BM) in S12 = 19 sec

Thanks, seems great. My interest is to edit and then burn an AVCHD DVD playable in Full HD (1920x1080) on a BluRay player in order to see the footage on a large screen. Many softwares that I have tried will import and edit AVCHD but cannot burn in Full AVCHD HD. Can you tell me more?

Pinnacle Studio 12 can do that all, fast and in excellent quality.

I use Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 and actually Studio 12 is the only video software which works perfectly with this OS. Sony Vegas Pro 8b, Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8 and others don't. Adobe Premiere Elements and Premiere Pro CS can't even import AVCHD footage on whatever OS without a very expensive third party plugins.
