I just started using Vegas Movie Studio 8.0 and I am trying to create a fairly simple slideshow. The slideshow is made up of several sections and uses several songs. The problem that I am having is to match the slides in one section to the length of one song in that section. I have 24 slides (pictures) in that section and a song that is 1 minute 30 seconds long. There must be a way to simply select the 24 pictures and make the duration of each pitcure 3.75 seconds so that the 24 pictures take up the entire 1 minute and 30 second song but I cannot figure it out. Keep in mind that I only want to apply this duration to this particular section. Any help would be appreciated since this is very frustrating.

Try this:

Select all 24 images (click the first one, shift-click the last one), GROUP them (by pressing "G"), and then hold down the CTRL key and resize the last image to match the length of the song. They should all be changed proportionally.
