Hi, my insurance company have agreed to replace my JVC GR-DX97EK after becoming damaged. They've handed over the claim to powerplaydirect who don't seem to be too fussed to handle it quickly or professionally.....

Anyway, they've offered a GR-D860EK as a replacement but it doesn't have some of the essential features of the GR-DX97EK. I've trawled online sites trying to find suitable info but can't find what I'm looking for.

The essentials are 1/6" (or more) CCD, x12+ zoom, AV Output AND Input, DV Output AND Input, mic input.

I'm not bothered whether miniDV or HD, JVC or other main brand.
Can anyone please suggest a suitable replacement so that I can inform powerplaydirect's "camera specialist" what she should be offering me?

I will take a guess since we don't know how long you have had it, the condition or even where you are located. I'll guess a new one can be purchased for £230.00
