Okay, I need your help...suggestions
Okay here I go. I have a Sony SR11, Blu-ray player which is PS3, and regular DVD players with upscalling. Software I use is Final Cut Express, iLife 08 which is IDVD, IMovie etc..., Toast 9 with blu-ray plugin, Quicktime Pro, and have two Sony HDTV Bravia. Now with all this gear how can I get the best video quality from all above. Also I have the upscale DVD players in living room that would like to use until I get my standalone blu-ray player. I like to use 1080p or 1080i quality if possible to get the best quality. Thanks people for looking and helping.... by the way I use a Imac intel core 2.66 GHZ brand new...

For your bluray and PS3, use toast but heard its hit and miss for HD. As for the rest, Use FCE or iMove8 to convert to apple codec to process and burn to disc. I also have the SR11 and use iMove8, then move it iMove6HD due to plugins I purchased for more transitions. Still looks awesome.
