Sony DVD201e still rocks

After 4 years of using a Sony dvd 201e It still does a great job. many models came after it but some of them fail to even get close this model.

Just thought i would pop in and say that very happy with this model with no reasons to upgrade any time soon.

Thats good to here!

I am considering though to purchase the Sony SR12 http://www.camcorderinfo.com/conten...eview-34178.htm

Why? well I am finding myself using mainly HQ video mode which means i only get 20 mins record time on the disc. The you have to swap out another disc to continue on.

So seeing how now there are these hard drive based cams i think it might be time for me to consider this as the SR12 has a whopping 120GIG HDD!

Thats about 29 hr in HQ mode 9mb/s. Basically it means i can leave the cam on longer now without worrying about time restraints and swapping discs. Since my videos are now moving outdoors with boating now I just sit the cam on the boat dash and let it role whilst i head out on the sea.

I think this would be an impressive upgrade.
