Canon HV30 & Final Cut Pro...help...

Hi all, new to the boards.
Right now I'm stuck as to what I'm supposed to do, I can't import anything into Final Cut Pro using my HV30, I know that Canon is compatible with Mac so I'm guessing my settings in audio/visual settings are off....
Please help!
Thanks!

Do you remember which mode you shot in? 60i, 30p, 24p? DV?

Try going to the Easy Setup in the Final Cut Pro menu and choosing HDV. Then choose HDV 1080i60.

Connect your Firewire cable to the computer from the camera and put the camera in VTR mode.

Then Choose File>Log and Capture.

Hope this helps.
