vp-d230 pal
hi folks
where do i start i have on of these VP-D230 PAL digi-cams things and yes you've guessed it, its dead GCC failure, i have spoken to the all powerful customer services dept at Samsung( robbin barst"£$%) uk and have been around the block trying to get this fixed free, hell i never had this prblem with sony, it broke, they fixed it, nuff said
so what's next this class action while a victory doesn't help me very much.
does anyone out-there in interwebland know what i should try next, any help would be gratfully received, even if it means having to buy (there i said the B word) something to replace the paperweight i have at the moment, sorry dig-cam

More Samsux!! Deception!!
Antraxx69,,,
~Just so you know, the VP-D230 PAL has the exact same CCD(GCC) as the SCD 23, 24, 27, 103, 164 etc...US NTSC versions! But Samsung tries to say not because they cleverly gave it a different part # after it is attached to the PCB! It's the PCB it is attached to that makes it fit one cam or another or makes it PAL or NTSC! However, if you dig hard you find that the actual CCD used is the same part that is failing on all the other cams!!! Join the Class Action Lawsuit!!! DO NOT LET UP ON SAMSUX!! TELL THEM YOU HAVE DONE THE RESEARCH(I did and you can click on my user name and find my posts on the subject,,, I did hours and hours of research on this crap and I hate these Samsuck bastards!!) TELL THEM YOU FOUND THAT IT IS THE SAME ACTUAL CCD AS ALL THE CAMS THAT ARE FAILING!!!
GOOD LUCK!
