35mm lense adapter?

This is a new concept to me. Digital video is really flat - everything is always in focus. Now I see all these 35mm adapters that would allow my to get the really cool depth of field effects in video.

So here's the question: can anybody suggest, or point me in the right direction to, a 35mm adapter that would allow me to attach 35mm lenses for a Canon A-1 to a Canon Hf100? The A-1 lenses have prongs on them for the auto aperture, but NO autofocus. The locking rings look pretty standard. I just remembered they are called FD lenses. From the 70s.

The Hf100 has a 37mm filter diameter, with the threading on the inside.

So do they make anything that would work for that? I appreciate any advice.

Google Letus and Redrock. Usually they make stuff for bigger cams but they might have something that fits yours.

And "lens" doesn't have an "e" at the end unless you're using it as a verb meaning "to shoot" and you write for Daily Variety, as in "Pic is expected to lense in Gotham."
