Hello guys,

I bought a sony pc330 that has the noghtshot feature.
I wanted to try to increase the IR ability (distance) , trying to add some IR leds.

I bought a bunch of IR leds taht have these characteristic :

5mm IR Infrared LED 850nm

Emitted Colour : Infrared

Size: 5mm

Lens Color : Water Clear

Forward Voltage (V) : 1.5~1.6

Forward Current (mA): 60mA Continuous, 120mA peak for 10% Pulse Width

wavelength (nm):850

View Angle: 15-30 degree

and I made a 36 leds pack powered by 9.6volt battery.

I was so disappointed ......
the IR light emitted by the 36 leds was way much less of intensity in comparison to the ir intensity emitted by the few leds mounte in the camcorder.
I am so amazed in how is possible that the in the camera leds ar eso much more powerfull.....

Do u have any suggestion in where I could fing few very good leds that I could buy and add to my camera as external ir source ?
