Things have been quiet here so I thought I'd get some discussion going.
B&H has an interesting article about tripods here. In addition to the standard legs and heads I was intrigued by the foldable Benro tripods. Every so often someone here is looking for a tripod that is "packable". These Benro legs look like they might be good for traveling or carying gear into the field.
There's also the popular Slik and Sunpak unit described here as well.
