Best way to share online?

I am getting some beautiful video with my new HF S10. However, the options for sharing online seem limited. I cannot upload the MTS directly to youtube (though it says you can).

Any suggestions on how you are getting some high quality video online?

TIA
M

MTS on Vimeo?

How do you upload MTS files directly to Vimeo? When I tried, it didn't allow me. I looked at the Vimeo Plus option, but it doesn't seem to be any different, although I haven't tested that.

With YouTube, I had no problems uploading MTS files that are smaller than 1GB, however, for some reason, they would come in SD and not in HD.

I should have said, I prefer to encode any high definition video I have to 720P WMV and upload to Vimeo.

YouTube worked!

One correction here; I was able to successfully upload MTS file to YouTube. Initial fast encoding yielded a low-res YouTube video. However, after much longer time (I can't tell how long), a HD version became available.

So, bottom line -- uploading raw HF-100 (and, presumably, other Vixia AVCHD) MTS files to YouTube will work if you give it enough time to encode the video in HD.

I have hit or miss on MTS with youtube. Strangely enough, I tried uploading an HD MTS file through picasa straight to youtube and it worked fine. If I upload from youtube directly, no dice.

Perhaps the framerate settings or something is giving youtube a fit?
