Hello People of Camcorderinfo.com and board members
My name is Niels Berndsen, I'm 33 years and I'm from Nieuw Vennep, the Netherlands, Europe.
I've been fascinated with camera's since I was in my early teens. Having done scaled car stunts with my toys cars and using my dads camera to film it all, making stop motion like short films, till documentaries and wedding reports.
recently though I've noticed that the Consumer based camera's are getting smaller and smaller each and every year.

This kinda upsets me, cause I've noticed, the smaller the camera gets, the more shake sensitive it becomes and optional capabilities it looses

... most importantly to me, the capability to switch lenses and having XLR audio in and outputs.
My question... are there still camera brands that make Camera's the way camera's should look like? For example, my favourite camera and one I'd love to have in the future for sure... the Panasonic HVX 2XX series camera. This is to my knowledge a camera that can get the job done and offers both MiniDV cassettes and the new P2 cards, plus I also believe it excepts SD memory cards. Although sadly it still is way beyond my financial reach to buy it.

Does Camcorderinfo.com also have Information on these type of Camera's?
With thanks in advance.
Niels Berndsen
