Hi,

My Mum recently bought an XR520VE, a camcorder I recommended to her as a camera, not camcorder, user myself (SLRS and Professional lenses and flash units).

The HD 1920x1080 looks awesome on our 46" Bravia.

BUT the photo quality looks terrible. It says 12MP (alright so its 6 and uprezzed) but even @ 6MP it doesn't look like it could even handle a 12x8 very well (or 12x9 in it's case).

What can we do to improve the quality because at the moment I would say that her old IXUS with a measly 3.2MP could hold up better?
