Hard drive problem

I have a Hitachi DZ-hs903a camcorder when i tape onto the hard drive in a music location (band playing classic rock) after a few my camera states hard drive is corrupted I lose the film i alredy have and have to wait until later to repair, does anyone know if it is the base that is bothering the hard drive
