Multiple Language Tracks in PE7?

Can anyone tell me if PE7 allows multiple language tracks on the DVD in PE7?

When I create my annual Year-In-Review video of the family, I like to have the music soundtrack, with a little mixed in original audio, as the default language track, and just the original audio as a 2nd language track because the kids mostly like listening to the original. Adults get bored and need the soundtrack to keep interested. Then you just have to hit the audio button on the DVD player's remote control to switch back and forth between the two language tracks. Works great.

I currently use Pinnacle Studio to edit to an AVI, then export that to Adobe Encore DVD, which is where I author the DVD with the two audio tracks.

I am trying to find an all-in-one solution, but I need the two language tracks.

There is no one solution for this, Premiere Elements will not allow multiple audio options.

Encore DVD is a good solution, Sony has DVD Architect but that is still a separate program from Vegas. It would be easier to use Premiere Pro and Encore DVD as they can share projects and files easier, but it is still not a one stop shop.

Thanks Chuck. That is kind of what I expected.

As I move toward HD in 2010, I will have to rethink my workflow, filetypes, etc, and probably have to move toward a single vendor to avoid problems, most likely Adobe since I am already familiar with Encore.

Thanks again,
jklein

If you already use Encore then moving to Premiere Elements or Pro is a good solution to at least some issues.

We have many former Pinnacle users in our forum at muvipix, stop by and say hello. Most of them switched to Premiere Elements, some to Sony Vegas.

They can give you lots of tips and advice about why they switched. Many of them use either Encore or Sony DVD Architect to accomplish more in their DVD Authoring.
