I plan to buy a PC105 but I also want to find an underwater housing with it.

I have found 2 models which seem to be nice for this camcorder : the Gates PC105 and the Equinox ProPak 6spc.

Could you please help me to make the choice between these 2 products ? To help you I have few questions on them :

* is it better to have mechanical controls (Gates) or manual controls (Equinox) ?

* is there some extra place to put a bigger battery on the Equinox model ? (I saw that there was extra place on the Gates model but I didn't see anything for the Equinox one).

* will these products work in France ?

* is there a 1:1 port for the Equinox model ?

* do you know their prices ?

And, finally, which housing is the best ?
