Battery question.

Does the charger that comes with the camera (for the NB-2L battery) work with the the BP-2L12 battery? I'm guessing they must cuz they both fit in the camera but I can't seem to find a definitive answer online? thanks in advance...Bishop

As long as it's the same voltage and the same type (Lithium ion) it should not be a problem. I have a BP-406 and an aftermarket "Lenmar" called LIC412, both work fine.

Yep they work great I bought two new BP-2L12 clones for $10 each on ebay. They are great and last at least 2.5 times longer than the OEM battery. They take longer to charge of course.
