Settings for your JVC GY DV5000

Color Matrix OFF OFF OFF EXCEPT VERY BRIGHT OUTDOOR SCENES.

Black level 2

IRE 100%

Knee 80%

Setup 0%

GAIN -3db 3db 6db

Detail - Your choice

SONY LOOK-read my notes

AUTO MODE-lower the AGC-see my notes

AUDIO -20 16 bit AUTO MODE-manually diable via my secret menu so you can adjust audio manually in auto mode.

ZEBRA STRIPES MUST BE USED as in the past BUT...... over 95% outdoors.

Iris under switch if you use auto iris

SD-ON make sure you register skin detail

Grain can be minimized via gamma and black levels


MOST UNDERUSED ITEMS: Black Stretch, compress and accufocus switch.

Question Your settings for JVC GY DV5000

Lou,

I've read the settings that you posted on 02-19-2004 07:46 PM for the JVC GY DV5000. I haven't found a question that may have asked what settings to use. Are these settings for general use or for a specific situation?
