3 free video site analytics programs

Posted by Karen M Cheung

This week, VidmetrixOmniture relaunched its web analytics tracking system SiteCatalyst for search management and online marketing. While there are more and more subscription-based video analytics programs for larger production studios or business advertisers, here are some free programs to help you track traffic on your video websites. Here is a round-up list and screenshots.

Traackr is dedicated to self-promotion through social networking sites. It tracks all your videos, still photos, and songs on YouTube, MySpace, Flickr, Revver, and DailyMotion.

Vidmetrix, powered by Visible Measures, gathers video and music visitor information from more than 50 sites including Google, Veoh, Yahoo, and YouTube to give total traffic numbers. Vidmetrix also gathers comments and rankings.
