Archival Gold Discs Now Include Scratch Armor
Posted by Richard Baguley
Delkin announced a range of archival DVD-R discs last year, but they’ve just added a new product to their range: they claim that their new Archival Gold discs include Scratch Armor, which “prevents scratches, scuffs, dirt, chemicals, and fingerprints”. They claim that the new coating makes the discs 10 times more resistant to scratches than other recordable media. The new discs are available as both CD-R and DVD-R versions and will be available in March and will cost $34.99 for a pack of 10 DVD-R discs (with cases), or $85.99 for 25 discs on a spindle. For some reason, the new discs aren’t listed on their Web site yet, but I’m sure they’ll be up there soon.Technorati Tags:
