November 04, 2004CamInfo Select: The Best Camcorders
We cover camcorders obsessively at CamcorderInfo.com. From they day they are introduced, to when they first hit shelves to when the prices get marked down and the camcorders go on clearance we're studying, testing, researching and analyzing all the models available. Each year around the holidays we take all the work we've done and give you our bottom line recommendations on which camcorders we like and which we don't like. This year, we've done full, hands on testing on about 50 different models, testing their performance, handling, manual control and all the options each one has to offer. While these aren't certainly the best camcorders for every person, these are the camcorders that fit the criteria which we have. We still recommend that you read multiple reviews of camcorders in your price range, and that you go play with any of these camcorders before making a buying decision. That being said, the following models all performed excellently for their price category, and we hope these recommendations can be a good starting point for your journey to pick the best camcorder for you.
