Camcorderinfo.com is proud to announce the launch of Camcorderinfo.co.uk for our readers in United Kingdom. The new site offers the best content of the American version, but with PAL camcorder test results and UK-targeted material.

How do you get to the site, you ask? Well, if you're in the UK, you're probably looking at it right now. If you're not, just type www.camcorderinfo.co.uk into your browser's URL bar. Much of the content is the same, but certain sections of the review, and most testing results, will vary depending on your region. Older reviews (prior to 2009) that have not been tested for PAL are clearly noted with an "NTSC disclaimer." The good news is that the comments system will be shared between the US and UK, so you can feel free to argue with your neighbors across the Pond.

All testing takes place at our home offices in Cambridge, MA, including both NTSC and PAL camcorders. The NTSC data is shared between the US and Japanese (Camcorderinfo.jp) editorial teams, and the PAL data is shared between the UK and German (Camcorderinfo.de) teams. It's a tricky business sometimes keeping track of the small variances between models from one country to the next, but we've been at it a long time, and we have a vocal readership that helps keep us in line.

We hope you enjoy Camcorderinfo.co.uk and the rest of the publications in our network.
