Still Features
The large 8.59-megapixel sensor on the Canon HF S10 allows for great opportunities for still shooting. The camcorder manages 8-megapixel native stills, among the largest of any camcorder (joining the company of Samsung's new R10 and others). You also have access to all the manual controls that are available in video mode, which are substantial.
