 The video sharing site Dailymotion.com added its highest quality online video playback, the company announced on Monday. Dailymotion’s MotionMakers automatically re-encodes uploaded video clips to 720p HD resolution for playback. Its move into high definition video is one of a select number of online video hosts, including Hulu, Swarmcast, Vimeo, and Veoh. Users should use Dailymotion with caution. Like other high definition videos on the Web, Dailymotion’s version comes with the standard problems associated with high definition playback with heavy-duty use of bandwidth and processors. Dailymotion suggests using computers with at least 2Mbps and dual core processors.[via NewTeeVee] Technorati Tags:
