Fake Sony Camcorders in the UK

The UK edition of MacWorld magazine reports a warning that some evildoer is allegedly selling fake Sony camcorders. They report Sony spokesperson Emma Cross as saying that they have asked eBay to remove 22 listings, and there have been reports of the fake camcorders being sold by street traders in the Glasgow area.
UPDATE: It seems that at least one Camcorderinfo.com forum member has fallen victim to this fake, and other members claim that the fake camcorders are also being sold in the US. I’ll post more on this as I get it.
