How to make a rain machine

Posted by Emily Price

Nothing makes a sappy love movie better than a good long sad walk in the rain. When you’re an indie film maker on a budget however rain may be one of those things you have to scrimp on (or wait for depending on your determination). Curbly has a pretty decent how-to up on how to create your own rain machine for under $50 using some wood and your everyday run of the mill garden hose. The idea is pretty cool, and should work really well provided you have a place to hang it from and characters that don’t move around too much.
