If you haven’t already noticed, we rolled out a new comment system last week. Not does it decrease page load time and look nicer, but it makes login creation a whole lot easier for newcomers. We’re making this thread a way for everyone to introduce themselves. Say hi to the neighbors. Tell us who you are, what camcorder you shoot with, and why.

There are some important things to know about the new comment system. Most of the details are discussed in last week’s blog post. The important things to remember are this:

- Everyone needs to re-register for comments. This a one-time process that will give you access to CamcorderInfo.com and all of our other great sites, including DigitalCameraInfo.com, WirelessInfo.com, PrinterInfo.com, HeadphoneInfo.com, and Reviewed.com. You won’t get any junk mail, we promise.

- The new comment system is completely separate from the Message Boards. If you have a Message Board login, it won’t change, but it won’t give you access to comments in news and reviews (even your old comments).

This is a big step for us, and one that we hope will continue to grow a great community of people. So hop on the thread below and say hi.
