PerformanceIntroduction
The GZ-MG77 (MSRP ($900) was JVC’s top model in their Everio line of hard disk drive camcorders until the GZ-MG505 was finally released, after much delay, a few weeks ago. Since last year’s GZ-MG70, the major changes have occurred in the imager (which is smaller but with a higher pixel count), the LCD (up from 2.5" to 2.7"), and a $200 price drop. But it will take more than a band-aid to fix the Everio series.
