Mogulus Launches Streaming Video Platform

Posted by Karen M Cheung

MogulusMogulus this month launched the public beta of Mogulus Grid, a streaming video platform for watching and producing movies.  After four months of private beta testing, Mogulus officially went live on Nov. 14 at the NewTeeVee Live conference that brought out other newly-launched online video players including Miro.com.  Mogulus, however, promises that anyone with a simple broadband connection can view and post user-generated content like a multi-million dollar television station, according to a company press release.

Under the slogan, “Broadcast Live. 24/7,” Mogulus allows users to schedule viewing playlists around the clock.  Users can embed tickers or other logo graphics into videos that they produce.  Mogulus is also compatible with existing common applications including Adobe Flash or social networks such as Facebook.

Mogulus will offer a subscription-based premium edition, as well as continue its free advert version.
