New Hybrid Camcorder and Still Camera from Mustek

Hybrid camcorder and digital camera devices are proving to be extremely popular, and this new model from Mustek might continue that trend: the DV536 will cost $200 and combines an MPEG-4 camcorder with a 5-megapixel still image camera (which interpolates up to 10 megapixels) and an MP3 and digital video player. It also has a 2.4-inch screen and can record from a composite video source, saving the video to an SD Card. It looks like a handy little gadget to keep in a pocket for those times you don’t want to carry around a camcorder. Here’s the full press release (PDF file).
