New Program Tests HD-DVD Readiness

If you are wondering if your PC is up to the challenge of playing HD-DVD or Blu-ray discs, Cyberlink has a program that can help you tell: their Cyberlink BD/HD Advisor will scan your system and tell you if it has what it takes to play the discs. I just ran it on a couple of my PCs and the results were interesting: my desktop system is up to speed, but my laptop (shown on the right) is not.
