New Way to Share Videos Online

Posted by Richard Baguley

This looks like an interesting site: it’s a video version of the popular image sharing site Flickr. You upload your videos and tag them with key words (such as kitten, baby or San Francisco) and people can then view them online. It seems to work pretty well, and there are a lot of videos up there. You can make videos public (so anyone can see them) or private, where people have to know the URL to view them. The only size limitation is that the video must be less than 100mb in size: they don’t limit the number of times that people can view the video or the length of the video. It’s also for noncommercial use only. You can also upload pretty much any format, but the videos are recompressed and displayed using Flash.
