 Jeff Carlson has just released a new book: iMovie HD 6 & iDVD 6 for Mac OS X: Visual QuickStart Guide. I’ve read some of his other stuff, and it’s good. To give you a taste, he’s offering the first chapter of his new book as a free download (a 700kb PDF). It's definitely worth considering if you are looking for a holiday gift for a new Mac filmmaker.
