Open Source Movie Making

Posted by Richard Baguley

This is an interesting idea: Stray Cinema has created an open source film, where all of the shots that make up the film will be offered online for users to download and edit themselves. They are then running a competition to find the best new film reated from the footage, with the best five being screened in London next year. They are planning for it to be an annual competition, and it sounds like an interesting way to get a different take on a short film.
