Fresh from the factory and on display at CES is Panasonic’s new flagship camcorder.

Introduction

Fresh from the factory and here on display at CES 2012 in Las Vegas, the HC-X900 is Panasonic's newest flagship HD camcorder. The new model doesn't have an overwhelming amount of updates over its predecessor, the HDC-TM900, but Panasonic does claim some tweaking to the sensor design should result in better overall performance. Panasonic also beefed up the 3D capabilities on the new camcorder, but they only come into play if you shell out the cash for the optional VW-CLT2 3D lens converter.

The HC-X900 will be available in two versions: one with no internal memory (the HC-X900) and one with 32GB of internal memory (the HC-X900M). Pricing and availability has not been finalized, but we'll publish details as soon as we can.
